Pregnenolone’s “fountain of youth” benefits continue to develop, as this natural steroid may protect the heart from cardiovascular disease. As we age, pregnenolone levels decline leading to poor health and hormone imbalances. Fortunately, pregnenolone levels can be restored to improve memory, vision, energy, and cardiovascular health.

Scientists from the University of Leeds found that pregnenolone sulfate can limit the production of inflammatory cytokines that cause heart disease. The study found pregnenolone’s protective effect was not as strong when cholesterol levels were high, suggesting healthy lifestyle habits can increase pregnenolone’s heart benefits. These findings show that pregnenolone can be a cost-effective approach to support cardiovascular health.
